Medical Business Management (MBM) is a full service medical billing and claims management company. We generate cash flow for our clients, by implementing the medical billing/collections revenue cycle. Our specialty is anesthesia billing.
Established in 1990, our locally owned company serves over 350 healthcare providers including, physicians and nurse anesthetists (CRNAs). Physician specialties include: anesthesiology, pain management, and physical medicine/rehabilitation.
Located in Vestavia Hills, Alabama (Birmingham metro area), we employ a well-trained staff, who complete the billing and collections functions that include: credentialing, coding, data input, filing claims, payment posting, follow-up and collections.
Joe Gribbin is the founder and President. Gribbin has a Masters of Science in Hospital and Health Administration; he had 12 years experience as a hospital administrator before organizing MBM. Gribbin has a wealth of experience in practice management, revenue development and provider credentialing. The Alabama Association of Nurse Anesthetists recently recognized Gribbin as a “reimbursement advisor.”
Joe Gribbin, Jr. is Vice President of Operations. Gribbin Jr. has a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration; he comes with a background of medical sales to radiology departments. Gribbin, Jr. brings a high interest in technology and software development helping create a proficient well-organized operation.
Soneaqua Flanagan is the office manager. Flanagan has a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management; she provides a working background of over 18 years. Flanagan is a certified professional coder (CPC) and her proven strengths include office management, medical collections, coding and advising/consulting.
MBM specializes in anesthesia billing with a focus on assisting CRNAs, hospitals and anesthesiologists. We take pride in the accuracy, efficiency and results of our service.
